Ray Gregory Builder
Bringing Precision And Pride To Building
After school, Ray did work experience as a cabinet maker and decided it wasn’t for him. He then turned his hand to carpentry, before moving on to become a Licensed Builder.
He enjoyed the detail, the accuracy, the precision.
In a building, millimeters matter. And that’s where Ray shined, always doing things right the first time (defects can’t be disguised under plaster and paint).
He took these skills with him when he switched to becoming a builder, where he continues to employ meticulous attention to detail to give clients homes that are structurally superior and flawlessly finished.
Success, for Ray, isn’t measured just by the satisfaction of his clients at the end of a project, but by the calls he gets years later, telling him how much his work has meant to their family. “That’s the real reward,” he says. “Knowing that something I built not only stands the test of time but plays an important part in my clients’ lives.”
Becci Gregory
Business Operations Manager
Turning A Passion Into A Business
Just as Ray excels onsite, his wife, Becci, is a talented manager. With formal qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management, and years of experience owning businesses and running large teams, her operational excellence ensures a smooth, enjoyable building process. Together, they provide a personal touch that larger companies can’t match.
“Building and renovating can feel daunting,” says Becci. “Our goal is to ensure our clients don’t just love the end result, but that they enjoy the entire experience.”
Trent Robinson
Carpenter
Trent has 8 years in construction and joined Gregory Projects in 2024. He loves tackling detailed carpentry projects requiring craftsmanship and shares the same values as Ray, with meticulous attention to detail.
Outside of work, Trent enjoys adventure. He is into snowboarding, travelling and walking his dog Bobby who is often on site with him. He also barracks for Collingwood! Go Pies!
Jackson Gatz
Apprentice Carpenter
Jackson joined Gregory Projects in 2024 as a school-based apprentice and has since stepped into a full-time apprenticeship. He’s a quick learner with a solid work ethic, always eager to grow and take on new challenges.
When he’s not on the tools, you’ll likely find him out on his motorbike, or playing pool with his mates.
